In the disc brake version for 6-bolt brake rotors, the DT Swiss 240 Classic MTB rear hub with Boost-Standard offers you plenty of room for really wide tyres. Furthermore, the new freehub technology from DT Swiss is used here. The Ratchet EXP freehub uses the advantages of a ratchet with 36 teeth. These offer optimum power transmission, preventing undesirable idling. In addition, bearings integrated into the threaded rings increase the distance between the bearings. As a result, the axis moves less, which leads to a lower load on the bearings. Therefore the already stable Boost hub is even more durable. Due to the no-tool concept, you can service the 240 Classic without tools and change the freehub body. The 6-bolt disc brake mount does its part to ensure that you have the most modern standards on your bike.
